Ignatian Spirituality Lecture Series

White House Retreat, in partnership with Peace & Justice Commission of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, St. Francis Xavier (College) Church, St. Justin Martyr’s Faith in Action Ministry, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, will be hosting a free lecture by Fr. Stephen Pitts, SJ about “The God Who Breaks Down Barriers” on May 8th, 2019 in the Fleur de Lis room at the Cardinal Rigali Center. Come learn how the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius can help make sense of the influx of migrants at the US/Mexico Border, and how a Jesuit-sponsored project in Chiapas, Mexico creatively addresses the root causes of migration. Join us to see the power of Ignatian Spirituality and Catholic Social Teaching come together to reveal a God at work who breaks down barriers. Talk begins at 7:30pm. Taco & tostada dinners will be sold from 6-7pm by Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish for $10 (cash/check only). RSVP online at http://www.whretreat.org/speaker-series or call (314) 416-6400 today!
