Religious Education

The Christian Education and Formation Commission promotes education programs for parishioners.  The purpose of these programs is to provide opportunities for continuing religious education and spiritual growth of our parish.

 

Adult Education

Help plan, organize, and publicize adult religious education programs for parishioners.  Maintain a resource center in the foyer of the Church which has a variety of materials for adult faith development.  Contact:  Parish Office, 314-644-2144.

Retreats

St. Luke hosts an Annual retreat for all men of the parish at the White House Retreat Center.  Contact: Paul Metzger, 314-647-4640.

RCIA

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a program for adults interested in learning more about the Catholic faith and prepares adults for sacramental initiation into the Church.  Sponsors are needed to accompany candidates for the sessions and make them feel “at home”.  Parishioners are also invited to join the RCIA team to contribute to the meetings and presentations.  This program works in union with the staffs of our cluster parishes.  Contact:  Parish Office, 314-644-2144.

Youth Faith Formation

Youth Faith formation provides Sacramental preparation for Reconciliation and First Communion for all ages.  Contact: Ann Deer, 314-645-4754 or Charlene Talir, 314-920-1089.
