January 4, 2018
Dear Parishioners and Friends,
As the saying goes… “all good things must come to an end”. We just received word this past Monday that, as of Friday, 1/5/18, Panera Community Café in Clayton will close its doors for business. This has been our source of breads/desserts, supporting our St. Luke ‘Bread for Life Ministry’, for the past 8 1/2 years.
We all have valued your fellowship, offering your DONATIONS, which have helped support our parish. We have accomplished many goals together and the positive outcomes have blossomed.
One last month of our Ministry is resulting on the scheduled weekend of January 13-14, offering DESSERTS only, and as always, DONATIONS will remain in support of St. Luke. We welcome all of you to come, visit with us, as this wonderful Ministry comes to a close.
There is a slight possibility of continuity, but with different regulations pending, we’re not sure of sustainability.
Thank you ALL so very much for the support, friendship, and valued DONATIONS you have given our volunteers and especially the St. Luke the Evangelist Church and Community…your loyalty has been noted and so very much appreciated over these years.
With Blessings Offered,
Wishing ALL a Happy 2018…
“Bread for Life Ministry” Volunteers
